The Library
An emerald-green and black hand painted silk wallpaper lined room in the manner of an English country home, drawing upon the Chinese decorative styles of the late 19th century, awaits. Rich green leather and patterned deep pile velvet banquettes frame the room that centres around a Verde St Denis marble fireplace and green lacquered library shelving where sits a rare collection of MiMi’s chosen favourite books.
The Parlour
Adjacent to the Library is the Wedgewood blue panelled Parlour, with hand-painted Chinoiserie scenes providing a layered contrast with modern bright coral screens and a red lacquered chandelier. Coral and rose leather upholstered banquettes are offset with regency jacquard fabric backs lining this elegant room. Overlooking the Parlour is a coral lacquer and marble dispense bar with Chinese textile inspired hand-made tiles and copper accents to finish MiMi’s favourite room perfectly.
