MiMi Mei Fair is imagined as the private residence of Empress MiMi — a mythical guardian of China’s most treasured culinary traditions. She is a figure of perpetual curiosity: a collector of flavours, a keeper of forgotten recipes, a traveller across silk routes and tea roads.

Her home exists at the intersection of two worlds: the refinement of Georgian London and the sumptuous complexity of Chinoiserie design. Here, lacquered walls and gilded screens share space with marble fireplaces and soaring sash windows. Every detail is deliberate; every room whispers of something ancient.

Set across three floors, the townhouse reveals seven distinct dining rooms, each curated as a different facet of Empress MiMi’s world. Chinoiserie elegance meets Georgian refinement, evoking the glamour, romance and intrigue of Shanghai’s golden era.

From intimate corners draped in lacquered silk to more animated salons — each space unfolds its own story of exploration, tradition and quiet indulgence. No two rooms are the same, no two evenings alike.

Guests move through the townhouse as they would a private home: unhurried, immersed, entirely transported.
